Before treatment, your provider will cleanse the skin and prepare the treatment area. The XERF handpiece is then used to deliver controlled radiofrequency energy in a precise pattern to ensure even treatment coverage.

At Glowholic™, every XERF treatment is carefully planned and reserved exclusively for you. To ensure your safety and provide the highest standard of care, we ask that you review and adhere to the following policies.

MEDICAL HISTORY AND CONSENT FORM

All required medical history forms, consent forms, and pre-treatment documents must be completed at least 48 hours (2 days) prior to your scheduled appointment.

This allows our team sufficient time to review your medical history and determine whether it is safe for you to proceed with treatment. If additional information, medical clearance, or changes to your treatment plan are required, we will contact you prior to your appointment to discuss next steps or reschedule your treatment if necessary.

Failure to submit all required forms at least 48 hours before your appointment may result in your appointment being postponed or rescheduled.

INDIVIDUAL XERF TREATMENT APPOINTMENTS

A $200 deposit is required to reserve all individual XERF treatment appointments.

The deposit will be applied toward the cost of your treatment on the day of your appointment.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

• Appointments cancelled or rescheduled more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment may have the $200 deposit transferred to a new appointment date.

• Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice will result in the forfeiture of the $200 deposit.

• Clients who fail to attend their scheduled appointment (no-show) will also forfeit the $200 deposit.

XERF PACKAGE APPOINTMENTS

Clients who have purchased a XERF treatment package are not required to pay a deposit for each treatment session. However, a valid credit card must be kept on file to reserve all package appointments.

We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a package appointment.

• Appointments cancelled or rescheduled more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will not incur a fee.

• Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice will be charged a $200 late cancellation fee to the credit card on file.

• Clients who fail to attend their scheduled appointment (no-show) will be charged a $200 no-show fee to the credit card on file.

XERF™ RF Client Pre-Treatment Care Instructions:

• Avoid exposure to the sun and tanning (including tanning bed and self-tanners) for at
  least 2-4 weeks prior to treatment.

• Use a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ daily on areas to be treated.

• Discontinue use of retinoids (Retin-A, tretinoin), glycolic/salicylic acids, and other
  exfoliants at least 5-7 days before treatment.

• Avoid chemical peels, microdermabrasion, or waxing in the treatment area for 1-2
  weeks before the session.

• To maximize the effectiveness of your treatment, make sure to drink plenty of
  water in the 24-48 hours leading up to your appointment.

• Inform your provider of any metal implants, pacemakers, or defibrillators.

• If you have a history of cold sores (HSV), please inform us before your treatment. We do not prescribe antiviral medications. If preventative antiviral medication is needed, please obtain it from your physician before your appointment.

• It is recommended that hair-bearing areas within the treatment area are shaved about
  1-2 days prior to treatment.

• No makeup, lotions, deodorant, or oil is allowed on the area to be treated on the day of treatment.

XERF™ RF Client Post Treatment Care Instructions:

• Mild erythema (redness) and edema (swelling) may appear immediately following
  treatment and can persist for up to 1-3 days.

• Do not use a cooling or ice pack in the treatment area post treatment.

• A non-occlusive topical product, such as a gentle moisturizer can be applied to
  soothe the treated area. Moisturize daily.

• Increased redness may result from any activity that increases blood flow or body
  temperature.

• Avoid using cosmetics containing alcohol for at least 1 week after treatment.

• To minimize the risk of hyperpigmentation, avoid sun exposure. Apply a
  broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 50 or higher at all times throughout the
  treatment series.
